PROJECT FUNDED BY PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027
Project Title: Albergo al Sole Regeneration Step 1
The Albergo Al Sole has launched a regeneration and innovation project aimed at improving the environmental sustainability, security, digitalization, and accessibility of the facility. This initiative is part of the PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027 program – Action 1.3.8 DGR n. 406/2023, which supports tourism enterprises in their ecological and digital transition while expanding their service offerings.
One of the key interventions involved the installation of a photovoltaic system integrated into the roof, with a capacity of 19.76 kWp. This solution represents a significant step towards sustainability, as it will reduce CO₂ emissions by over 9 tons annually, thereby lowering the environmental impact of the business. During the high season, the photovoltaic system will support peak daily consumption, ensuring greater energy autonomy and a safer environment for both guests and staff. In the low season, the energy produced will significantly reduce management costs, allowing the hotel to remain open for a longer period.
In addition to improving energy efficiency, some of the existing equipment in the rooms has been replaced with more efficient and energy-saving solutions. This measure promotes energy conservation and aligns with the company’s commitment to more responsible and sustainable tourism.
The security of the facility has been enhanced through the installation of a new video surveillance system, improving safety and providing peace of mind to both guests and staff.
From a digitalization perspective, Albergo Al Sole has adopted an innovative software solution supported by artificial intelligence to manage dynamic pricing and optimize sales data. This technological tool, combined with the multilingual update of the website, will help open up new international markets, diversify the offering, and attract new customer segments.
With the planned construction of access ramps for people with mobility impairments, the hotel is beginning its journey toward full accessibility. This intervention broadens the target clientele, enabling the hotel to serve a market segment that accounts for one-quarter of tourists during the low season.
Thanks to this significant project, Albergo Al Sole now presents itself as a renewed, sustainable, technologically advanced, and accessible facility capable of delivering high-quality services in an increasingly competitive and inclusive environment.
The funding granted by the PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027 amounts to €72,771.048.
